Alina Parrot BSc (Psych) (Hons) MSc (Health Psych) MAPS is a General Psychologist who has a particular interest in children, adolescents and adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders and autism spectrum disorder. She studied health psychology and feels passionate about supporting individuals to achieve greater emotional and physical wellbeing. Alina also has clinical experience in addictions, psychosomatic disorders such as chronic pain and geriatric psychology.
Alina uses a client-centred, integrative approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Mindfulness-based and resources-oriented interventions. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships as a foundation for change.
Alina obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and her Master’s degree from the University of Stirling in Scotland. She can conduct therapy in English, French and German.
